BOOTH MAKING CONTEST

The topic for this blog is how did the students of the University of Cebu-LM campus celebrated its College Days of the year 2015. Basically, there are a lot of events happening on the said celebration as the students of the school prepares different activities to pursue the success of the College Days of 2015. Now, what I found interesting in the said event is the "Booth Making Contest" which is literally prepared by the HRM students from different sections that is task to make a booth that covers the ASEAN countries. The countries that are members are namely the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Cambodia. This association's purpose is to accelerate the economic growth, social progress, and cultural development through joint endeavors in the spirit of equality. I'm focusing mainly of the five countries which are Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Brunei. Students are tend to make designed that could actually catch up the attention of the viewers. They decorated their respective booth to make it the best booth I've ever seen. Usually, the booth contractors must have to make sure that the booth they are making would partially fits to the theme or cultural inspired of the said country. Like for example, the Philippines booth design is something that is usually the country's best product such as the foundation of the booth is made up of bamboo and has been decorated of banana tree and of what we called "puso", where cooked rice is placed that is formed by a coconut leaves. In Thailand's booth, they make it more elegant style because of the things that is being used which is gold in color as the country is known for its color Gold Buddha. Regarding on Vietnam, it is just casually designed a products that can be seen in the country. Singapore might be the one which I could say that it is different style among the other countries booth because as the said country has been influenced by a Chinese style, so I could literally say that it is quite different atmosphere. Lastly, is the country of Brunei which I can comment that the decorations used is quite related to Vietnam's design. It is just casual and common to everyone but still I can figure out that it is also been designed according to country's culture aspired. So, everything I've said must be quite amazing due to every countries best features and wonderful designs created but if you have to look closely and realize every detail so then you can determine the essence of the countries culture. As the food delicacies  of every country has been presented so it has been part of the contest, we actually taste some of it. Pertaining to the activities, I could say that the students did a very great job specially to those event organizer for making this event possible and memorable. We could actually feel on how the said event has been celebrated and on how did students coordinate and participates.
